Deepclean Privacy Policy

Deepclean finds duplicate photos, screenshots and duplicate contacts on your iPhone so you can remove them. This policy explains what the app does with your data. The short version: your photos and contacts never leave your device.
What the app accesses on your device
Photos. With your permission, Deepclean reads your photo library to compare pictures. All comparison happens on your iPhone. No photo, thumbnail or fingerprint is uploaded anywhere. If a photo is stored only in iCloud, the app asks iOS for a small preview through Apple’s own Photos service; that preview stays on the device.
Contacts. With your permission, Deepclean reads your contacts to find people saved twice. Merging happens on your iPhone. Before a merge, the app keeps a local backup so you can undo it. Contacts are never uploaded.
Storage figures. The app reads your iPhone’s total and free storage to show how much space you can recover.
Deletions are always started by you. Photos you remove go to the Recently Deleted album in Apple Photos, where iOS keeps them for 30 days.
What leaves your device
Subscription data. Purchases are processed by Apple. To manage your subscription, the app uses Adapty (Adapty Tech Inc.), which receives an anonymous identifier, your subscription status, purchase receipts, device type, app version and country. Adapty does not receive your photos or contacts. See adapty.io/privacy.
Advertising attribution. To understand which advertisements bring people to Deepclean, the app includes the Meta (Facebook) SDK. It may receive an anonymous device identifier, app open events, and, if you allowed tracking in the iOS prompt, the advertising identifier (IDFA). If you decline the tracking prompt, no IDFA is shared. See facebook.com/privacy/policy.
Crash and diagnostic data is shared with Apple according to your iPhone’s analytics settings.
The app has no accounts, no sign-in and collects no name, email address or precise location.
Your choices
You can revoke photo or contact access at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security. The app stops working for that feature but nothing is lost.
You can change your tracking choice in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
Subscriptions are managed in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.

Children
Deepclean is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version is published at this address with a new effective date.
